Looking for updates on Tamarack/Mirror Lake

Can anyone provide an update or recent review of Tamarack/Mirror Lake in Wisconsin Dells?

We have a hold through RCI on a 1 bedroom 4/4 in July, 2006. We've read some conflicting assessments of the property and management.

We stayed there 5 years ago and it was okay at that time. We just want to make sure before we lock in the trade. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I would be interested, too. We have a one bedroom unit on hold for the end of July, 2006. What type of internet access do they have for exchangers and owners?

If you can wait a couple of weeks, I have a week booked starting on 3/3. I have been a regular exchanger to Peppertree over the last four years and will update upon return.

Back from recent visit

We just returned from Fairfield Tamarak Resort (current resort name). After reading the pass few TUG resort reviews, I feel that they are currently accurate. I will enter my review in the near furture.

There was alot of discussion on the Wisc. Senate Bill 638, which the resort opposes. They asked me to email my feelings to them as added support to fighting this bill.

There is dial-up internet service in the Activites Center at no charge; but, slow. I tried wireless service for my laptop; but, got nothing. I traveled to several motels chains in the area and got service where ever I tried.

If you have a summer week on hold, I'd keep it as timeshare weeks in the Wisc. Dells are very hard to come by and are the most expensive to rent. The activity in the Dells increases many times over from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

We had a great time in the off season. I try to answer any questions.
