Thank you for the replies. I saw something that said Wyndham wasn't allowing guest certificates for the rest of 2020. That makes me nervous that we'd get turned away at check in. Does anyone know if there's any truth to that?

It appears that this is true, at least for now. I phoned Wyndham after reading the above, and the agent confirmed that there will be no guests until the end of the year unless the owner checks in in person for them. I asked if this could change later in the year, and she said it was possible but unknown at this time. To be more sure, I will phone again in a couple of days and see if I get the same story.

Wow! If system-wide, one would think there would be a notice to that effect on the website. Maybe mere owners don't have a need to know.

Well, I see no notices about this. I remember one that talked about currently held reservations may get cancelled to accommodate better cleaning, etc. With Exchangers being the first to drop and then others considered by when their reservation was made.

If I go online it lets me add a guest certificate to a reservation I just made, so that says that the posts above are not correct, no?

Apparently not. I phoned again today: Wyndham is only allowing 25% occupancy at its resorts at the moment. The agent told me that guest confirmations cannot be ordered. DRIless, did you actually add a guest confirmation to your reservation? Don't forget that the guest confirmations are sent out directly from Wyndham, so they can cancel it at source.
The agent told me that at this time, reservations can be cancelled by owners right up to the day of checkin without losing points. If that is true, I guess Wyndham can also cancel reservations and guest confirmations right up to the checkin day.

DRIless, did you actually add a guest confirmation to your reservation?

No, I booked the week for the OP and went all the way through the guest cert process to the point of being charged. At the time, the OP had not responded to my PMs so I wasn't going to pay $99 to check it all the way, but it shouldn't lead you down the path.
