Can anyone recommend a nice clean hotel in which to spend an overnight layover? DFW airport, Saturday night, Oct 25th. Flight out in the AM early Sunday morning so looking for close to and free shuttle to/from airport. $100 or less would be nice for 6 hours of bed use.

Thanks in advance ;)

Hotel Near DFW Airport

You might try Google-ing "DFW Airport". That lists several hotels offering shuttle service to the terminals. The two hotels on the airport property are very convenient, but they are probably pricey.

Check the Marriott Courtyard. I was just there as a faculty member for a conference. I don't have time to check the rate; but considering the conference rate, I'd guess under $100.

I can only tell you to stay away from the Ramada that AA put us in when a delayed flight caused us to miss our connection - ugh!!! I didn't want to touch anything and couldn't wait to get out of that place.

Thanks All for the relplies

I appreciate all of the advice. I went the google route and found a few w/shuttle service but they didn't look like the comfy, cozy type of place that I wanted to enjoy for 6 or 7 hours in the middle of a long flight/delay so i sucked it up and booked at the Grand Hyatt in terminal D onsite. $119 for a King standard on the Quiet Side. What the heck, I guess I'll just have to win that much more in Vegas the day we fly out :whoopie:

Thanks again!

Haven't been there in years but the Hyatt used to have a great restaurant. Many locals used to frequent it.
