Looking for cheap flight to Puerto Vallarta from midwest via tour companies

I've been looking for a flight from the upper midwest (preferably the Milwaukee/Chicago area) to Puerto Vallarta (mid March, 2006) for awhile.
The cheapest flight I've found through the regular airlines is $750. I see Apple Vacations has a flight only option for about $400 and Worry-Free Vacations, leaving out of Minneapolis, has flights for about $300. I really don't want to have to drive to Mppls for a flight - Milwaukee, or even Chicago, would be much easier. Besides Apple Vacations, does anyone know of other tour operators that offer a "flight only" option? Thanks.

I'm not sure if you absolutely have to go through a tour company -- but I got an email recently from USA3000 and I believe Apple uses them -- anyways, they had flights for $79 each way. I didn't save the email but you might want to check them out.

Thanks for the info. I've never heard of usa300 before, and it was a good addition to what I am looking for. Unfortunately, they're all sold out on all seats from Milwauke for the entire month of March. I guess us snowbirds really do like our warm weather.

Thank you. They are pricey right now, and only have a 3 or 10 option, but it may change in the future.

May be a little late

If you have a place reserved, I would get the best fare available now; by now I mean within the next few days. It's a little late to be shopping fares to PV as you are in the high demand season. Wait much longer and you may not get a flight at all. Hope it works out for you.

I wasn't sure if I could go or not until the last week or so, but didn't realize the flights were so full. I always thought it was like Orlando, where there's lots of flights and they're cheap. I guess not.
