Ok, here's what we would like.

Two bedrooms with a good beach, swim up bar, 5 star resort. AI would be nice if it was reasonable. We would like Cozumel but would consider others.

We're a family of 3 and this would be to celebrate our son's college graduation in 2011. We like to plan early. I know I have to wait for this summer to start looking. Our best trader is with RCI but have a pretty good trader with II. Have already been to the Royals in Cancun.

We live in the Philadelphia area and would prefer a non stop flight to our destination.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

So Many choices

In no special order the RCI resorts that I would suggest,

The Grand Mayan in Nuevo Vallarta,

The Pueblo Bonitio Emerald Bay ( Mazatlan)

The Grand Mayan Acapulco

Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach ( Cabo)

all fit your description.

The drawback for me is that summer in Mexico is hot and humid. I would recommend Hawaii for tropical beauty, moderate weather.

jmho,

Greg

Greg, thanks for the info. I agree it's hot & humid but Hawaii is too far. Once was enough.

Maybe we'll try a new Caribbean Island.

2 bedroom

One that comes to mind ( I can't believe Greg forgot this one) actually two in Cabo San Lucas are Villa del Arco and Villa Estancia. On the beach, AI if you want it. Personally I won't do an AI as there are so many good places to eat in Cabo for a lot less money.

Anyone know a 2 bedroom, on a sand beach, 5 star (or gold crown), AI in Cozumel? My husband is a diver.

Thanks again,

Grand Mayan- RM

Greg-
You didn't mention GM in Riviera Maya. Are you not a fan of that location??? I fell in love with PDC that last timewe went. It is such a wonderful town and there are so many excursions to take in the area.

We will be there next December. Can't wait!!!!

Just got back from Playa del Carmen yesterday. We stayed at the Royal Haciendas which is with II but liked it much better than Mayan Palace. The units have better views, a full kitchen, the beach is nicer, it's closer to Playa del Carmen which is a wonderful town. There is a great dive shop on site. The resort offers free shuttles to PDC throughout the day or the taxi rate was only 100 pesos compared to double the price from the Mayans. The food was better at the Mayans but fortunately we were able to eat all dinners but one in town.
