Looking at maybe buying(Resale)a small amount of points at SVV(67,100) and every now and then deposit it in II/RCI.
How II/RCI points would I get to Exchange in Virginia Beach, Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head areas. Right now I have no idea which Exchange company would work best. Just trying to see if its worth it.

What are the unit details? What phase? Not all phases have star options carry over on resale. If it’s NOT a platinum week in bella or key west phase, DONT buy it. The gold plus week 2 bedroom is the same maintenance fee as the platinum 2 bedroom.

2 bedroom gold plus approx 1200 MF + 150 VSN fee / 67,100 options
2 bedroom platinum approx 1200 MF + 150 VSN fee / 81,000 options

why would you buy in with less options yet pay the same yearly fee? If you’re buying SVV only buy platinum. Even if you have to pay more upfront. 81K will go a lot farther than 67,100. Good luck

Also, if you’re buying SVV in bella or key west phase your membership fee to vistana includes the interval membership fee. You’re better off trading in interval with any vistana unit. You’ll have access to MVC resorts along with much better options. Strictly exchanging, I’d prefer II over RCI. With that being said, i purchased an RCI points resort contract to get access to certain systems. If it doesn’t work out for me I’m selling it.

Found out that the company that has it listed, didn't state that this is EOY.
So not what it was looking for.
Makes since to buy a platinum 81,00 instead.

Also make sure it’s not an 81K lockoff.

Hi....considering a similar SVV Bella Platinum purchase for 81K SO's....why is an 81K lockoff bad and how can I tell if it is an 81K lockoff?

Thanks for the help!

Lockoff
Gold 1600 MF / 81000 SO = 0.0197 per star option
Plat 1600 MF / 95700 SO = 0.0167

standard 2
Platinum 1180MF / 81000 SO = 0.0145 per star option

the price per star option is higher. Why pay close to 1700 per year in maint fees for 81000 options when you can own a 2 bedroom platinum for 500 less per year roughly for the same 81K SO

you can tell by the week and the maint fee. If it’s listed as 1500+ it’s a lockoff. If the maint fee is listed as 1180-1200 it’s standard. Match the week to the star option chart and you’ll be able to tell

The “Buy It Now” Price is hundreds of dollars less than what I paid for it, the pricing here is very good,

The listing has the MF listed at 1400.... that most likely included the VSN fee. Standard 2 bedroom units are not that high.

the buy now is 1450 + 375 closing /transfer.

2020 SVV 2 BR MF was $1271.42; VSN fee $155 if it's your only one. Not sure how the VSN fee works with a FLEX account, but it goes down with additional mandatory weeks. You can peruse the Vistana MFs in the sticky here:

There's also an online database a tugger set up here:

A Flex contract is considered a voluntary VOI. Normal VSN rules apply so this would qualify for the lower fee on the second VOI.

Pretty much what I figured. Thanks

I think $1500 + closing fee for SVV 2Br non-lockoff 81k annual is reasonable price. In last couple yrs, I bought 3 of these already between $1150-1800. I think Key West has slightly lower MF vs Bella.
