we have used barclayweb.com

We have used barclayweb.com twice to book flats in London. They have a large selection, some of which are available for longer stays.

If these places still exist

About ten years ago, I used E&E Apartments (071-828-0453) and received a wonderful place a block away from Victoria Station. Additionally, the British Tourist Authority published a brochure called Apartments in London. It may be on-line now. Good luck, Richard M.

How near do you want to be? I just got back from working in a town called SWindon, which is about 80 miles west of London, for 3 months and rented a very nice modern 2 br apt for about $70 a day. I found it by looking at the British tourist site and entering self catering accomodations in their search engine. You should be able to find apts. But they can be expensive in London or high end places like Bath.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. It is for my daughter and son-in-law who are going to be doing research in the London area. Your help is greatly appreciated.
