I will be visiting The Grand Mayan Riviera Maya in 2008.
Please can you tell me how they work out the 2% lodging tax
on a timeshare unit.
I need to know approximately how much I will need to pay.

Many Thanks
Tigwigs

tigwigs,

I believe the tax is based on the customary nightly room rates at each individual resort. I would recommend contacting the resort directly to inquire at conciergerm@mayanpalace.com.mx or 52/984/2064000.

You might also send an e-mail to feedback@rci.com with TUG in the subject line. The Communications Team can check with our office in Mexico.
