Recently I hear ads on the radio for this service. I suppose it could be a thing with more and more electronic processes.

Anyone hear of this? I still think of physically going to the courthouse to do a title search and then filing a new deed. Gah! I am sure this is done electronically in many places. Apparently there are security issues? Your title can be hacked and new liens can be placed. Certainly more of a concern if you own your property Free & Clear, but it could be a mess in any case. *sigh*

Anyone purchase this service?

We didn't and we also did not purchase ID insurance protection. I personally think they are both a waste of money, but that's just me.

I've never felt a need for this. More information about this company or service?

Sounds fishy to me. I'm not buying some "service" to protect what is likely not at risk. If something like this did happen, it could be sorted out. So far for me, all real asset transfers require my actual signature, usually in front of a notary.

Anyone can buy an ad.

I may be wrong about this but I think in the County I used to live in that you could set it up to be notified anytime something pertaining to your title happened...

So is this something that was offered to you?
I like to travel light, but smart. I have all my credit reports locked, but I've never paid for any extra services that are available.

Kind of sounds like "get out of your timeshare for free" middle of the night ads. call this number, we'll get you all set up on debit card auto pay monthly. heck, I could even be bothered to go down to the courthouse monthly to see that your title is still like it was.

I was not familiar with this, but a quick google search makes it look like a monthly subscription that alerts you o any change in your property title.

Not sure if my country offers the free service, but i will check into that. I am not worried enough about this to pay for a monthly service.

I have heard the ads for the title protection, but only been solicited for ID Theft protection and have bought neither.
