Location of Vacation Planning Center

Apparently Wyndham has moved Worldmark's Vacation Planning Center to the Philippines. This is causing all sorts of problems. Has the same thing happened to Wyndham's? There is the accent problems, lack of understanding of USA English, lack of understanding about Worldmark (they do not understand that WM trades in both RCI and II), do not know how to deposit first into II, etc.

As for Wyndham, I believe their two vacation centers are in Florida and Missouri. I find it odd WorldMark would contract out their vacation center to an overseas location.

Will that be the next step for Wyndham? If that happens God help us all!

They closed the Worldmark center in Redmond where there were actually folks who knew how WM worked. We now are routed to the centers in Florida, Missouri and, now, the Philippines. All are staffed by Wyndham reps with few who actually understand that Worldmark works differently. The Philippines center has the added problem of new staff. It is all very frustrating.

At the WM annual meeting, they kept talking about their 'exceptional customer service'. This is another example of their definition of 'exceptional' as really 'substandard'.

For what it’s worth I just had a WM rep who new exactly what I was talking about (no housekeeping on stays booked entirely with Incentive Credits) and got my housekeeping fee refunded - all in just a couple minutes.

Wyndham is our contracted Manager. So this was a Wyndham decision to save money and open a call center in the Philippines, while shutting down and laying off the personnel in Redmond WA.
