I am in the process of replacing my AC unit. I would like to finance it for a very low interest loan or a 0% loan. Does any one out there know of any companies that I can apply for a loan. Right as of now the one is 0% for 6 months or 3.99% for 84 months.

Is there any particular reason you want to finance it?

How about a home equity loan? Low interest + tax write off.

Usually, the retailer and or manufacturer arranges/underwrites these 0% or very low interest loans. Have you asked the dealer? The money isn't free, and someone pays the interest. It's either the retailer or mfg. in order to increase sales, or you.

I just got the word yesterday that our furnace needs major work, or replacement, so this is timely for me, too.

That's what we get for living in the same house for too long.

American Standard and Trane has an offer 18 months no interest. Costco also, has an offer check with your local Costco store.

The rate that you were offered was fair. Basically you are taking out a personal loan. You should take it and plan on trying to pay it off early.

Check with your electric company some have programs to get more energy efficient units and they will finance it. They just add the payment to your monthly bill.
