Does anyone have any general or specific information on this Resort/Timeshare facility?

I'm very new to any such concept, beyond a recent visit to Orlando and Visiting the Hilton Grand Vacations resort and listening to their pitch. Does anyone know if this resort is similiar/different?

I would have more specific questions, but I'm acting in proxy for my Wife who is actually staying in the Dominican R. at their resort with friends and family and they are "looking into" a purchase.

Thank you

Once owned these: FirstFairway@Walden X 2; Lawai Beach; ManhattanClub; PuebloBonitoRose; 4 South Africa--now timeshare-free

If you are in telephone or internet communications with your wife and the friends and family who are "looking into" a purchase while at the resort, please tell them to STOP if they are thinking of doing a developer purchase. They need to spend time researching resales on the internet if they want to save themselves a lot of money. They also need to find out more about this company and not be swayed or pushed into buying something that they don't understand or know more about.

No matter what a salesman may tell them about the deal being good only for today or only at this presentation, there are many, many opportunities to buy timeshare and that deal will be there tomorrow and beyond. All timeshare buyers need to fully understand everything about a particular timeshare before they forge ahead and buy something they may be quite disappointed with in the future when it's too late to undo the transaction.

I've been there and think that it was great. While there I spoke to someone who had just bought for only $60,000. They only had to pay $34,000 because they 'traded' two timeshares that they already owned that didn't work for them. I am not one to fault their decision, but did tell them that I had heard of people who traded in timeshares at that resort but the resort never took possession. They went back the next day and had their trade struck from the contract at the same price.

I enjoyed my time in my private hacienda/villa with daily maid service and breakfast cooked to order in the villa. Beer, wine, and rum were all delivered to the villa, too!

Where did I feign a need for help? I've been there, I know how it works, I know several of the principles including Herbert, Yohani, Sebastian.
Wow, nice site!
Looks like a developer financed site to me!

AI for exchangers to their Hotel/Studio type units is like $80 per person per night and for their villas like $800 per villa per night!

I thought I had seen the AI in the villas at an exorbitant price. Wondered why anyone went at that price...or who could afford it.
