well the day has arrived. we are the only ones here at SDO. the staff has been great they are happy we've been here so they can keep their jobs. seems like about 5-8 employees. i can't say enough good things about this place. really really great. a lot of work going on with roofing, remodeling, new HVAC. we now feel it is safer to go back to our state than stay in arizona. they are pretty lax here and we are older so we are concerned. we have been able to go out mountain biking everyday and rarely see anyone. we stocked up on groceries early so cooking all our meals and an occasional take out. just hope we are safe stopping several nights on the trip home. it's been 15 weeks and we're ready to be home even if we have to stay indoors. a big shout out to SDO, you have my gratitude and my heart. it's been a crazy start to 2020.

I love SDO, it’s one of my all time favorite resorts and I love staying here. They have best staff and it’s such a warm and wonderful place to stay. Safe travels and hope you get home safely
