Connie, I was there a couple of years ago. I was quite pleased, esp of the location. It near the entrance to the GSMNP which was great, very convenient and close to wonderful restaurants. Try the bbq place on the same road (if it's still there) We loved it, and the Apple Barn is at the bottom of the hill . The same people as the one up by Seiverville. I also recommend going on the Roaring Fork Motor Rd and if you like crafts there is a crafters community right near there.
My condo was clean and well mainted but by no means was it gold crown standard, in other words not plush but well maintained. It is in a very very sharp curve so be fair warned. I like it because you feel close to nature yet can get to the touristy areas very quickly. I have pics if you want to see them. Have fun. Shaggy
