This is starting to get a bit lame, how many time must I decline?

Benefits of Enrolling your Weeks into Marriott’s new Destinations Program. The videos are Awesome! Additional information can be viewed on our new Website: www.my-vacationclub.com. Once you are on the website, be sure to check out the Explorer Collection for Cruises and Epic Trips to US & Europe, etc., all exciting new ways your family can use your existing ownership via Club Points. Your weeks are worth 16,050 Club Points, achieving Premier Plus Ownership Status, giving you Additional Benefits. As a Multiple week Owner you will save a lot of money just on fees!! Keep in mind that Club Points can be banked/rolled over, and borrowed, allowing for even greater flexibility. You will pay a One time Enrollment Fee of $695. Plus, currently you will receive 800 Club Pts. which will get you 2 to 5 nites at our resorts depending on time of year, size villa, and resort, so basically enrolling for Free!!

Since you are traveling and I am unable to reach you, please feel free to call me with any questions, to further review the Destinations Program, and/or to enroll.

FYI: If interested please don’t delay, since the 800 Pts. for enrolling is going away, and the Enrollment Fee will be increasing to $2,400 very soon.

With all developer purchases and a current enrollment fee of $695, I would give serious consideration to enrolling. Of course if you only use your home resorts, then perhaps not. If you trade one or two of those weeks a year though II, you can break even on the enrollment fee pretty quickly.

If a week is traded for MR points or is locked off the same advice would apply. I think almost all owners with only developer purchases and Premier Plus status would benefit from enrolling their weeks prior to the price increase. The exception might be an owner who always stays at his home resorts, does not belong to II, never locks off, never trades for MR points and is pretty sure that none of this will ever change.

I think that the salesman, like many of us, are stunned you wouldn't join. As others have pointed out, it's a relatively small fee, small annual membership fee and several benefits that are gained. Sure you may be set in your ways now but, trust me, you're always one unsuspecting illness away from having your world turned upside down. It doesn't have to be anything major that can alter the way you vacation. It doesn't even have to be an illness that alters your life. You just never know what lies around the corner and having the flexablity can be priceless when it comes to saving your vacation time vs needing to sell because you can no longer use your timeshares the way you use too.
