Well I have been oscillating for about two months on whether to buy the 50,000 points for my DH and my accounts this year with the deflation of value coming in January.
But I just spent some time looking at the hotels in all of the countries all over the world and there are lots of places we would like to use them for after DH retires in 2 1/2 years so I went for it. It's really a missed opportunity lost if you don't take advantage of it in a calendar year.
I know we will use them for travel packages providing good value in the future.
