I'm learning!!!

It may be because the seller has (0) history.

Ah....I missed that. I'm learning! Thanks! :)

But what about Las Vegas? How does it stack up to some of the others in trading power? And is New Year's week a good week?

No need to fear this one except for an unknown seller. Also, the final price might go a lot higher as the auction ends. Week 52 is an excellent week for trading or renting. The one bedroom does present somewhat of a problem but for this price it's hard to lose. You can always trade through I.I. and get a two bedroom at some other time of the year.

You will hear stories about LV and Orlando being overbuilt with TS while they are building more units. It's true, but the MGC being part of the MVCI has a built-in customer base that others don't have. That fact often bewilders potential buyers who can't understand how LV and Orlando can have such high occupancies and trade so well.

The primary factor in this purchase decision is whether you want to spend some vacation time in LV. If so, then you can be assured of a good decision to buy. The MGC location is great and week 52 is the premium week to own. The MGC is in the MVCI top ten as a trader in case you occasionally want to go elsewhere. Your main consideration should be: Do you want to spend vacation time in LV? If so, you're getting a real deal.

Thanks

I wouldn't want to go there very often and I really need a two bedroom. I was just wondering why I've seen so little interest in that one and how LV does overall. Thanks.

A lot of auctions have very little interest until a few minutes before closing. Then again, sometimes they don't. A few months ago I almost bid $1 on a no reserve auction for a resort I had mild interest. If I'd have bid that week, I would have won. The unit was relisted and sold for around $1,000 the second time around. Go figure.
