My niece and her husband are renewing their wedding vows in Las Vegas and she has asked me to find a restaurant for after the ceremony.

Her requirements are for a group of 18 people, casual but not fast food. Should be fairly close to Paris hotel where we will be staying. She wants the price to not be more than $20 pp. I told her that was virtually impossible for a strip restaurant.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

As kitschy as it sounds, I would suggest she contact the Paris, PH, and Bally buffets and see if they can accommodate the party, perhaps even at a group rate.

You will find nothing but burgers near Paris for $20 a pop.

Over in the Linq, the corridor that connects the Strip with the High Roller observation wheel, is the Yardhouse. You can take a look at their menu on the website. It is not far from the Paris.

If no one orders apps or more than 1 drink, you may get out of the Yardhouse within $20PP before gratuity.

The dinner prices are higher than the lunch prices. So I guess it depends on what time your planning to eat. I don;t know if its still open but there is a restaurant called something like mom and goba ( or mag ) that was pretty good. It is in front of Paris and has views of the Belagio water dealio.

Bally's only has their Sunday buffet at $80 pp. Both the Paris and Planet Hollywood are over $30 for their buffets.

I am very familiar with those places having stayed at the Paris, Caesars Palace and the Flamingo more than 200 nights. I agree that $20 pp really limits it to burgers or pizza. That is why I told her it was virtually impossible. I just have never looked for cheap eats before so I wondered If I may have overlooked some place.

What about Harrah's?

Honestly, whenever I do foray to the Strip to "buffet," I generally choose the more expensive ones like Wynn, Wicked Spoon and Aria.

OP should watch out for Groupons to Strip buffets, too, esp Caesars properties and Planet Hollywood.

I know the one you are talking about and it is well over $20. It is MON AMI GABI and entrees run from $25-40.

We are looking for dinner as the ceremony is at 5:00 PM.

I am the OP. This is not for me. I am just trying to help my niece. I get everything comped so I don't pay attention to the prices.

Groupon or coupons won't do any good. I have a pile of offers from Caesar's but we are talking about a group dinner with 18 people.

Also check out Batista's Hole in the Wall. It's been a Las Vegas Staple since I moved here in the 70s, and may not run too much over $20 if you don't hit the drinks, if everyone is kind enough to stick to the lower priced entrees.

If you are heavily comped by Caesars Entertainment, you may be able to work something out for your Niece on your comp availability, if you are willing to spend it that way. I saw this kind of thing ALL THE TIME when I worked in gaming.

Sorry, quoted the wrong post.

It looks like the Yardhouse may be a good choice. The prices are reasonable. I have eaten at our local Yardhouse and the one at Waikiki and the food was quite good.

I also thought of the Cheesecake factory at the Forum shops but I think the Yardhouse is probably better.

Thank you very much.

They have comped my kids before on my account but I really don't think they will do anything for a group that large.

Caesars has gotten pretty picky. It was a lot better at the Paris, Caesars, and the Flamingo when Hilton owned them.

Thank you for all your help.

Just as a point, they were always the same company, no matter the name Harrah's or Caesars. If they have gotten picky, it's because of bankruptcy.

I hope y'all find the perfect solution and have a great celebration! Yardhouse is fun!

If you like Mexican food try the Chayo Mexican Kitchen in the Linq area. We had a big B-day dinner there last year for 14 people.

I'd look for a smallish restaurant with a meeting or banquet room that can do a buffet for your party for $20 per person, and then offer a no-host bar.

How about the Eliss Island Brewery. Its not to far from Paris. I haven't had a real meal here but did have a couple of heffewissens and some pizza.

Tylon you need to pay attention.

I know all about their history. If you read my post, I said that it was a lot better when HILTON owned them, NOT Harrah's.

Hilton formed a separate division called Park Place Entertainment which they later renamed Caesar's Entertainment but it was still Hilton. Hilton sold Caesar's entertainment to Harrah's ( all their properties ). It stasyed Harrah's for a few years and then renamed back to Caesar's Entertainment but this time owned by Harrah's instead of Hilton.

They got a lot more picky before going into bankruptcy.

We decided on the Yard House Linq.

Bill you have to be kidding. Ellis Island is not a place I would take anybody to. It is a dump. We have eaten there and the only good thing was I won $350 while waiting to be seated.
