Hello, i have been contacting vacation village, daily management resorts for deed back of my timeshare.
Finally got a reply back today asking for the following.

"Please send us proof of your financial/medical hardship so we may present your case."

Is this correct that only with these hardships a timeshare can be deeded back?
I have read in TUG that people were successful with deed back for this property.
Please share your experience.

Thank you.

ive not heard of any official deedback program with grandview before....but most resorts handle requests from owners on a case by case basis as they appear to be doing here.

that said, the majority of owners ive seen who offer up grandview units for free on the resale market find buyers/takers rather successfully...especially if the unit has been converted to RCI points.

Be patient. Things don't happen immediately. I don't know if ads on TUG show if you are a member or not. If they do, spend the $15 and join. It might help. Jazz up you ad. Make it different from the rest. If after a month or two, it hasn't sold, offer to pay Closing Costs plus $200. Spending $200 beats paying MFs on something you don't use...

Also might help to indicate youve already paid the 2020 maint fees, thus 2020 is free for a buyer!

and put it up in the bargain deals forum at the top here for even more eyes on it. lastly there is a grandview owners facebook page you can also join to post up your giveaway....anytime you get more owners eyes on your freebie ad...your chances go up!
