Attended an owners update today at Lagunamar. Very few units left (small side of lock-off) before sell out of resort. Next up for sales will be the new phase of St. John. Told him totally uninterested in that or Hawaii. No pressure. Might have found a way to get a credit of my unused Explorer package from another resort. Forgot to ask about the spin-off of the timeshares, but will ask tomorrow.

Overall the resort is immaculate, staff remember us by name from a year ago, concierge is excellent as always and our favorite pool concierge is back from vacation as of yesterday. Have talked to numerous other guests and have heard nothing but positive comments. Love the new grocery stores in the area. Went to Isla Mujeres yesterday and had a blast. No rain except the day after we arrived in the afternoon.

I attended a WLR owner update yesterday and also felt no purchase pressure. As posted above the remaining inventory is apparently very small.

The resort is in tip top shape and IMHO WLR has the best owner services and owner recognition in the system.

Ditto on the above comments. Just adding two things. The sales office has moved some senior sales people to the Westin resort hotel and has opened up a sales office there. Although there is limited inventory at WLR, there are two weeks 52, 2 bedroom lockoffs available. Asking price 49,000. The regular platinum two bedroom lock off asking 45,000.

Bob we are also at WLR, hope you are well.

Attended the owners update too, ditto above. They also mentioned they expect to sell St. John once sold out here before becoming a general sales office. Our sales guy did comment about Cabo being developed not too far in the distant future, but again, what does he know.

All in all, no pressure, the sales staff does a good job of not being bothersome.
