July 4 is most popular week

I don't know if it means it is the best deposit, but July 4 is the one week that Lagonita says is always 100% booked. I went there last year for July 4, and although it was fun, it was too crowded for my taste.

too crowded = great trading power

Big Bear does have skiing.. but I think it's more of a summer destination.
Most people that ski Big Bear, live in So Cal and go up for a day or two.. or a weekend.
If a So Cal resident wanted to ski for a week, we'd go to Tahoe or Mammoth.

I would always book anything from late June to Early August. 4th of July being best.

I used to own Lagonita. A July 4 week I had reserved a while back traded fairly well in RCI. I don't know how it trades in II. I think July 4 weeks would be the best week for trading purposes. Are you trying to reserve for 2006 or 2007? It's probably too late to reserve a summer 2006 week. If you want a July 4 week, make sure you call at exactly 13 months out when the phone lines open. I think they fill up for that week within a few hours.

It's a great place to own for bonus time if you like skiing!
Good luck,
Edye

It trades well for me.

Lagonita has traded well for me.

We traded a fall week bearview for a 2-bedroom Marriott in Mallorca, Spain in June. That was a great value.

I haven't had much luck renting the unit, so Just keep trading.
