Yesterday I accidentally canceled the wrong reservation (my reservation for Canada this Christmas..ugh) and I couldn't get it back. I called Wyndam and told them what happened and they said that the days cancellations aren't available to the next morning @ 8am when they opened. However, my Customer Service person contacted owner services and put in a request to re capture that reservation before the phone lines/computer reservation office opened...and Viola!!!... this morning I checked and I have my reservation back!!! Thank goodness!!!
So lesson learned...
If there is a reservation you want, and don't see that day...call in the am when Wyndam opens and you can scoop up a possible cancellation.
