Ko'Olina - do owners have access to amenities (eg pool), even if not staying onsite

When I attended the March 2007 sales presentation, I was told that Ko'Olina owners had access to the resort activities, even if they were not staying onsite.

I forgot to ask this question this time.

Is the statement true, or not?

Ko'Olina owners do not have access to the facilities unless they are staying onsite. However there is a club that local owners can join for a fee which alllows them to use the pools, etc. I think they limit the usage to a certain number per day so you have to call ahead and reserve.
