Keys-Florida Bay Club #5130 end of Feb 2021--take or hold out for better?

We want to go to the keys next winter. I just matched Keys-Florida Bay Club #5130 end of Feb 2021--should I take or hold out for better? We can go anytime in Feb.
cons-far from Key West (but is Marathon area good for water sports/beaches)? it's a 3BR, which we don't need, so rather a lot of RCI points (93,000).
pros-it's $$$$ in the Keys in Feb. I'd likely shell out $1500+ for a week in marginal digs. Even just 3 nights in Key West is $1K. It's exactly the time we'd want to go.

Fwiw, we used to own and use a February week at Florida Bay Club (which is in Key Largo btw, not Marathon). With the noteworthy exceptions of John Pennekamp State Park and a restaurant I recall as being named The Fish House, there just ain't much else of note or interest there, at least IMnsHO. The resort itself isn't great either, quite frankly, unless a truly radical change has occurred there in very recent years (which I am inclined to seriously doubt). Bear in mind too that you would be literally 103 miles from Key West while staying at FBC; that's certainly a bit of a haul --- and it can be slow going.

It's your decision and your call, of course, but if in your shoes I personally would "pass" unless you are bound and determined to go to the (very uppermost part of) the Keys in February, 2021. I'm guessing that February exchanges into anywhere in the Keys are likely few and far between, so there is certainly that factor (and a real paucity of other RCI affiliated options) to consider. Your call...

Galleon is a hard match but chances will be better early December which is considered a slower time.

thanks. I'm going to expand my search to add some others. I'd prefer mid Keys or KW. I had one of your great sightings on hold last year for the perfect time in early Dec, but we decided not to travel--should've kept it!!!
