It's not much better on Oahu...heavy rains and flood warnings. No tornado warning though.

I don't know when you left Oahu, but it started raining yesterday, and barely stopped. Today is the same...except it's heavier than yesterday.

It’s funny because I am on the runway now but I am leaving from Oahu going to Hilo. I saw the weather on Kauai and I thought I would post it.

We are held up because the winds are changing with the rain. We will be going off a different runway. Sounds like we will leave in about 10 minutes. Plane is about a third full

Thoughts and prayers. I left Kauai Sunday just in time after 3 gorgeous weeks. Rains also hitting CA now and heading to AZ tomorrow.

More rain today on Kaua’i. No travel recommended past Princeville. They are still assessing damage to the Kuhio Highway going into Hanalei and beyond. It looks like we are in this pattern for several more days. With storms we had a couple of days ago the place with the least amount of rain was Port Allen; they only got 2.49”! The gauge on Waialeale had 29”!

Trading Places Maui posted this video yesterday. We had gorgeous weather the two weeks we were there. Rained a little bit the morning we left, with more rain predicted for a few days later. We think we got out just in time.

Man! Kauai can't catch a break! I heard something like 150 tourists are stranded on the Hanalei side of the bridge, due to flooding.

When Kaua'i had big storms in April several years ago I do not remember it causing problems on the south part of the Island.

I haven’t heard anything about flooding in and around Po’ipu other than the usual flooding of the parking lot across from Po’ipu Beach Park and the intersection up the street from Brennekes.

Wakeboarding is happening behind trucks at the flooded parking lot in Poipu.

Kauai is having more flooding today. Kuhio Hwy is closed from Coconut MarketPlace to the south. Wailua river was flooding. It is just starting to recede now. Kauai can’t get a break.

Just received these images from the area near Kauai Beach Villas. Those of you who have been there know this road. Looks pretty bad. I wonder if its the backup of the stream adjacent to the resort? @DeniseM @jacknsara

Sorry, Jeff. You're closer to things than I am. A friend sent them to me because I used to own at Kauai Beach Villas. That first picture is the road into the resort that it shares with the Aqua hotel. What the heck is going on? Is the weather on Oahu like that?

No worries, I’m just posting because I know there are a lot of people here that frequent Kauai.

Oahu was a part of that storm warning but we didn’t get anything here in Honolulu. It’s 83 and sunny here right now.

We just got back from the grocery store and it was much better than last week. At least some things were restocked. Not back to normal but better. No paper products but we are good with those. We also filled up with gas. That was down to $3.29 from $3.63. Cheaper at Costco of course but we have been staying away from that zoo.

Poor Kauai just can’t catch a break.
