I love it when Ebay sellers get the facts wrong about what they're selling. If the Unit Number and other primary info on this new auction are correct, this will be an AWESOME score for someone. A 1br 2ba oceanview unit at KBV with free 2012 usage, for just the auction closing price plus $99. That's a GREAT deal!
The auction says it's a 1br 1ba unit, but says the unit is F3. If that's correct, then it's a 1br 2ba unit. F3 is an oceanview unit. The maintenance fees advertised are wrong (2012 mf for a 1br 2ba unit are $1110.) But here's the best part:
The auction says there is 2012 usage available without reimbursing the seller for the 2012 mf. In addition, there are no closing costs or transfer fees to the buyer. That's a savings of about $500, and means all the buyer pays is the auction selling price plus a $99 "convenience fee," whatever that is. It's early enough in the year that even if it takes several months to close, you can still get a great vacation on Kauai this year.
Good luck to whomever wants this. Be sure to do your due diligence, and score another one for TUG!
