Kauai Beach Villas Model Unit

WKORV, WKV, 2-SDO, 4-Kauai Beach Villas, Island Park Village (Yellowstone), Hyatt High Sierra, Dolphin's Cove (Anaheim)
These pictures were taken when we were at KBV in January (pre-flood.) I know they were going to make some changes to make it more tropical, but I thought Tuggers might like to see it. The bedroom was locked so I have no pictures of it. The model is a one bedroom. It was really nice - my pictures don't do it justice.

Yes, they had to - the first floors of all buildings except Buildings F, G and H were flooded this spring and they had to gut them. There is a thread about it on this forum.

Note that you can see the AC Split in the living room picture.

I saw this model unit. I also saw these actually implemented in other Grand Pacific Resorts managed properties. It was their design. The Makai Club, for instance, has had their renovation to this design decor. They're beautiful

This room is a concept of one model considered at KBV. It was not selected by the board. There is not currently a model of the new selections.

Nothing has been done due to Covid, etc. This model was done 2 years ago. It’s tough to get both materials and workers on the island.

Seems like it would be a bit backwards to do an interior refurbishing before dealing with the exterior structural problems in the oceanfront buildings.
