Hello I have an upcoming reservation at the Kauai Beach Club.

I have an Ocean View 1 bedroom. I requested a high floor, but got an email from then telling me that I have been confirmed in a 4 the floor unit in the kahili tower.

Does anyone know if this room will have an acceptable view. I suspect it will not be optimal, but am hopeful.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

The Kahili wing overlooks the main pool. You may be able to see the ocean through the pool view, but at the fourth floor, you may also be looking at trees.

You could also try requesting another room upon arrival.

I have never heard of a resort notifying a person which floor they are on. Is this something new?

Started at KBC in 2015 (at least for me). I did get a room on the floor stated in the concierge's email.

It might not be as bad as you think.some of the units in that building are strategically placed and have peekaboo views of the ocean. We actually like the bottom floor. I love walking out on the grass that fronts the sand. Higher up, you sometimes are looking at treetops. Think positive, they may just move you to the oceanfront tower building next door. Its such a gorgeous property, it will all be good!
