Karisma/Nickelodeon Membership

Went to the Nickelodeon resort in Punta Cana and LOVED it. I almost bought into their vacation club but the price just wasn't what I was willing to spend after paying to get there. They also didn't explain it very well. I was not clear if the fee gave me a free week or just a reduced price to book. I am still not sure. We would love to go back and I think it may make sense to join but I really don't understand the membership. Is anyone a member or familiar that can explain how it works? The sales people were not really helpful which made me even more leary.

I searched the forums and google and could not find much info on the membership. Thanks!

Welcome to TUG! You may have a hard time finding people here that own in this type of system. These are more memberships vs timeshare. You pay upfront and usually get a certain number of free stays then after those free stays are gone, you may get additional stays where you only have to pay the all inclusive fee. Generally the membership fee is just prepaying for the free stays and then after that is is more of a discount because you are paying the AI fee, which is probably marked up to make for only a marginal savings over booking with cash.

If no one here has this type of membership, you may want to seek out some Facebook groups that may be related to Karisma/Nickelodeon. I am sure there are some out there.

I’m a member. It’s just a reduced price to book and a lot of member perks. If you want, you can pm me and I can refer you, which basically lets you test drive what it’s like with member rates and perks.

Hi BarneyBatt are you still member at Karisma/nickelodeon resort? I seen your msg in this forum I was wondering how the referral process works.
