Are Ocean FRONT and Ocean VIEW different categories at this resort?

Are there different seasons? (Different reservation periods?)

I'm not certain, but I think the only categories are:
2 Bedroom Presidential Suite - ocean front
1 Bedroom Deluxe Ocean View - higher up or closer to the water
1 Bedroom Ocean View - lower or further from the water
1 Bedroom Scenic View - in the back
Ask for a room that's not near an inside corner or you'll be looking at your neighbors whenever you go out on the lanai. We've stayed in 1 Bedroom Deluxe Ocean View rooms several times and always got a room with a nice view. We'll be there in 60 days. I'll ask for a room diagram.

Can't remember ocean front or view but...

I had deluxe ocean view and it was oceanfront. I was on the third floor and our unit faced the beach/ocean. It was a great room. The deluxe ocean view are advertised as partial ocean view. It all depends on checkin. If the place is not scheduled to be full you may be able to get the ocean front.

We had a 1br deluxe ocean view via a DAE exchange last November. I requested oceanfront upon check in just in case something was available but of course the owners had those booked. I asked to see the available units and were offered 307 (closer to the ocean but really close to the pool) or 1104 ( a little farther from the ocean but an incredible view of the ocean, pool, gardens and mountains from the higher floor). After looking at both units we went for the high floor and were not disappointed. Tried to get back to our unit every evening in time to watch the sunset and tiki torch lighting while we drank Mai Tais on our lanai
