Thinking about buying a resale timeshare in panama city florida. It's called escapes tropical breeze. It is for week 28 mf are $ 594. One bedroom one bath. They are asking 3000 for it. It is a place I will visit often but if I was to exchange for somewhere else every now and then would it have good trade value. Thank you to all that reply. New to this so trying to figure it out.

1st off...others know more than me...

Personally, I would do a quick ebay check to see whats out there. TS are selling for much less than $3k though I will confess that I do not know the TS you are buying. Are you certain that THIS is the TS for you? And that THIS is the time? Have you looked around? Pretty standard advice on this board is to hesitate, research, then buy.

Have you been to this resort? One should never acquire a TS for the trading value. One thing I have learned about trades...you usually don't trade up!

As for me, I'm in the Wyndham system, I can buy a 2 bedroom, full week, for far less that you are considering at this time. On top of that, my Wyndham week would trade directly within the Wyndham system and I have RCI as an outside trading company to use if I run out of ideas or time.
