Just won the auction for the Hilton Valdoro, 8400 pts for $5200. The question is, did I do ok??? I'm so excited!!!!:cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
 
As long as it is something that you want and that you will enjoy, you have done well.

Who is the seller?
 
I well remember my first also and I was so excited...at the Townhouses at St Augustine Beach and Tennis Club and we still love it there!
Our second eBay purchase was Telemark, where we are now, a huge, lakeside 2 Bd unit! and which I bought while at our first stay at TAS

I had been eyeing the Valdoro all year, looking everywhere for a decent price but no luck. Did I do good? I don't know but we're still super excited, we enjoy Breck so much and now we will even more. Now comes the tricky part...learning everything Hilton.
 
Just as long as you know you did not buy a winter ski week and you are ok with that, I think it is a great deal for the number of points. I love the property and I love the 3 bedroom units, so I may be a little biased. I do not know anything about the seller though.

You may want to visit the HGVC board for more information...

I was watching that auction, and you got a very good deal - congrats! Hilton has ROFR on Valdoro, so now you'll have to wait to find out if they'll exercise it or not. Good luck!

I asked the seller a few questions prior to bidding and he was very quick to respond. As well, I emailed the last 5-6 buyers and all were pleased with his work, their TS purchases all went well. He will be forwarding me the purchase agreement and estoppel letter then I have a week to review and send the payment. I hope this goes through Hilton's ROFR.
 
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! My first ownership of a time share was 1 1/2 years ago. My excitement is still there..
