We were in a newly renovated villa and it is beautiful. They have removed the awful jetted tubs and now there is a large shower in the master and a regular tub/shower in the second bedroom.
There is new tile in bathrooms and on floor in entry. All new appliances (with bottom freezer fridge). All new furniture and art- very nicely done.
The only odd thing is that they did nothing to the kitchen cabinets- still the old pale wood ones with the wooden knobs.
Overall it is very nice.
It is warm here and people are swimming with in the ocean and outside pools.

I do like the move toward large garden showers. We never use the jetted tubs. I do know that some will be disappointing though because they use the tubs every stay. I think however that they are a shrinking population. The move to large showers in the home is a trend that continues to grow.

Good to hear this. We will be at Barony in January before traveling down to Florida. Sounds like they ran out of money by the time they got to the kitchen and just did soft touches there. We like being mid island for easier access to where we go. Starting out at Sunset Point, which will be our first time. Obtained it on a $297 AC certificate so a good way to try out a new place.

DW will be among the deeply disappointed. I mean, there already was a nice shower, along with the tub. I have to say, removing the big tub to make an even bigger shower makes no sense to me.

We never use the tubs, and so I'm also glad to hear they are being removed. I'd love to see a photo of the new shower.
