We were a little antsy about flying, but we donned our N95 masks and flew Delta from Buffalo to Phoenix. Our outbound flights were amazingly empty. One of the two return flights last night was relatively full, but the second was about 25%. Both resorts (Camelback and Desert Oasis) did a good job with sanitizing and social distancing. We’re so glad we went. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed crowd-free resort stays. Now, back to ten degrees. Brrrrr. I posted reviews for both resorts, so they should be available soon.

Good to hear you had a nice time. We are heading to Canyon Villas this weekend. Seems like Covid cases are somewhat dropping in Arizona. I frequently fly Delta and appreciate middle seats still blocked. I hope weather is good and we will do mainly outdoor activities and enjoy the weather. Welcome home!

I had bookmarked a site that tracks AZ Covid cases, and it showed a decrease of around 29% at the time we arrived compared to two weeks prior. Yesterday it showed down 47% from two weeks prior, so cases are definitely dropping. Of course you want to be careful. A couple weeks before we left we started a regimen of immune supporting vitamins and minerals, with an emphasis on D3 and zinc. We continued that through our stay and will keep taking the supplements for at least another week.

We are going to Sedona in April, flying to Phoenix from Orlando non stop on Southwest. Thanks for the positive report. I’ll look for your reviews when they post.

We are also booked for two weeks in Arizona, beginning end of February. We flew to Florida and back in January, with no problems on a full American flight, so we have aren’t wary of flying anymore. We are in the midst of our week long below zero temps, so sunny and warm is fabulous to look forward to.
