Don't want to make something out of nothing but just received the World Traveler Collection Directory from MVC. It's half the size of the Interval International Resort Directory published in 2008-2009. They appear to be similar publications. Is there a reason for the difference in size or are they just different items? If they are the same publications did we lose the number of resorts we had access to in 2009. The pictures of the resorts are smaller in the new directory so that may account for some of the difference.

Will Interval International continue to publish the directory? They were more prominently mentioned in the old one for 2009. The new one has Interval's name on it in smaller typeface. Both publications state they come from MVC. If they are similar publications what's the purpose of sending us both of them?

I got mine

Received the WTC Interval catalog yesterday.

It's thin like last years. The reason I see is that most of the detailed descriptions are online. These books are expensive to produce.

I kept the big book, I view these little books as supplements. I do my searching com the website, but it is nice to point at a picture on a page and a
say to my wife, "What do you think?"

The book gets thinner and thinner every year, so being thinner this year shouldn't be a surprise. I agree that most people are looking online for their information and the books are nearly obsolete. I expect in a few years these will become like the white pages. You won't get the book automatically but can get a copy if you call II and ask for one.
