If the law is written as stated, it seems that the health emergency needs to end. The governor didn't follow the law and should have sought legislative approval for it to go beyond 28 days. That said, some judge may review it and indicate that the lawsuit against the order can't come from the people or the group that brought the suit but rather must come from the legislature. If the legislature isn't fighting it the lock downs, then perhaps there is no case. Who knows...

Our plans to visit my sisses & spouses who are in Gresham and Estacada in October are likely to be abandoned. 3 of the 4 are health-compromised and my fear is that traveling by plane could expose us and thus them. If we drove, it would be 5 days of driving just to get there and we'd need to overnight in several hot spot states.

Oregon is one of the states that is statistically doing well vs. the virus so I hope it continues especially since my healthy sister is case manager nurse at a large nursing home near Portland.
