This reminds me of an interesting personal story about JetBlue in the Caribbean that left me less than impressed. We were landing at Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) in St. Martin from Toronto. We had been delayed leaving, but our pilot made good time. However, we were still about 30 minutes late arriving at PJIA.

There was apparently a JetBlue flight slightly behind us. They were also late from their scheduled landing time. I had noticed the JetBlue aircraft in question after we landed, as we were taxiing back to the terminal. It landed maybe 5 minutes after us. I certainly thought that it was a bit tighter and closer than I would have normally expected.

What I subsequently heard was that their pilot was trying to persuade the air-traffic controller in the control tower at PJIA to let him land first and make us go around. He was obviously trying to make up some of his time. Fortunately the ATC did not accede.

I am sure this is probably not unique to JetBlue pilots, but if true, not a very class act, IMO.
