I was able to get a January 9 Last Call for the Summit (126 - U) and we are really looking forward to it even though we don't ski. We have been to Maasanutten about five times before, but never in winter.
The snow tubing looks like fun, but we are 77 and 61 and not looking for any broken bones. Would it be doable for healthy but not super athletic people?
I will be checking the Virginia Winery web site for winter hours for the wineries, and we will maybe do a day trip to Charlottesville. Between that, the Water Park and all that goes on at Massanutten, I think we will have a full week.
This will be the first time that we have gone since we bought our Summit unit earlier this year. I am assuming that we will get the owner's discounts even though we are there on an RCI week. Is this true? Can we have our ID cards made when we get there?
Has anyone done the beer dinner? We have done the Winmakers dinner a few times and were not that impressesd.
Any other ideas for a winter trip for non-skiers?
