I have heard when and if you purchase 1) from Builder and 2) from resell the points aren't lumped into one account. If this is true what about if you just purchase resell AND purchase a second resell can and will any of these purchases be combined or will they be separate accounts?

I understand they will each require their own MF's but I am hoping the points are in one account to be pulled from.

Thanks..

The points from both will be lumped together, if...
1. They are both "true" HGVC resorts (not affiliates).
B. The "grantees" on both deeds are eggsactly the same.

Even if one is an affiliate, if you are participating in points for the year,
you can ask that they be combined.

You pay a MF for each unit, but only one club membership.

You can combine your points into one account for reservation purposes. I have a Waikoloa account and a Carlsbad Seapointe account.

I just call and ask them to move the Seapointe points into my Waikoloa account every year.

I only pay one club fee annually. I pay maintenance fees on both of course.

Hi

if you have purchased a "true" HGVC and an affiliate resort, the points will not be combined since you will have two seperate accounts.

if the name(s) are the same on both accounts you can call HGVC and ask them to move xx points from one account to another. (That is what I do)

Regards

Hi

Not necessarily. I have 2 'true' HGVC resorts, and 4 affiliates, and they are all in the same account. The Southwest Florida affiliate resorts are treated differently than Bay Club, Scotland, Carlsbad, etc.
The only difference between SW Florida resorts and true HGVC resorts are:
My home weeks are automatically booked, and if I'd rather have the points I just cancel the auto booked week. And the SW Florida resorts can't be booked online.
But I have 1 account, 1 club fee, and I don't have to prepay maintenance fees in order to borrow points.
