Looking at purchasing a week at the Islander Beach Resort, New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Was told that in addition to the premier floating week that we would also get 7 additional days and daily use privileges for the pool and beach access. Was hoping that there may be other owner of this resort on Tug that could verify or provide additional details regarding the resort. Thank you in advance.

I exchanged there once when my children were young. I asked the RCI vacation counselor if driving was allowed on the beach (since it was so close to Daytona). Of course I was told that there would be no driving on the beach which I found to be a Big Fat Lie after I arrived. I don't equate beach vacations with dodging cars so thought you might want to take this aspect into consideration.

Not that many cars on the beach anymore. Have to all be off before dark
