Hi Tuggers I’ve been off the Tug website for a few months. This means I most likely missed much information. I did think I read in one of the posts on Wyndham page that Wyndham was allowing all owners no matter what there level to rollover their points to future use years in Wyndham NOT RCI until the last day of their use year?
Example: Use year Jan.1-Dec.31. So according to information I can roll over my 2020 points to 2021 as late as 12/31/2020?
Is this correct?
Thanks

What they posted reads:

  • Points Deposit
The Use Year deposit window for your points has been temporarily extended to the last day of your points expiration date. The quickest and easiest way to deposit your points is online. All fees will be waived and fees already paid by owners who have made their deposit as of March 13, 2020, will be refunded within 45 days.
Source for that is:

That is the point deposit feature to roll over your current use year points to the next use year or the one after that. They say it is a temporary extension of the deadline, which I would take as meaning you can do it for the current use year today regardless of when your use year ends, but there isn't really a guarantee it will stay in effect until the last day of your use year. They might leave it that way, but could always change their mind since they said it's temporary. YMMV.

Thanks you for your replies. No I would not wait till the last day,but thank you. No I’m not going to do it quite yet as I’ll still need some of those points to make fall reservations in 2020.
i know I could call Wyndham Customer Service, but each time I do that I want to either pull my hair out by the time the rep is done and still has not answered my question or transferred me to anyone else.

I would wait until 3 months from the end of your use year. So if your use year ends December 31st, then deposit September 30th. If you later find out you need to make a last-minute reservation in this use year, you are within the express booking window and can borrow from next year without a charge. I am gold, so I usually wait until late September to roll points forward to next year. If I need to make a reservation anytime between October and the end of December, I can always borrow those same points from next year.
