I am assuming you did all the normal things to fix the error. Log out, clear cache/cookied, browsing history, etc. Try a different browser and/or a different device. I get error messages all the time and 4 out of 5 can fix it by clearing cache. Same with RCI. Their tracking cookies even when you tell them not to do it, create errors when you do multiple searches.

I have some sites that won't work without them and I am too lazy to go through every site I may go to. It is a pain either way. I usually end up having to clear and get logged out of everything at least every 3 days but sometimes 1 or even 2 times a day. Some sites are set up very friendly to accept only necessary ones (at least that is what they claim), while others make you go in and unselect 4 or 5 options and then still may ask more than once.
Maybe that's why there's a big banner notification - still up on the website as of today? Is no one else seeing this big banner notification that obviously indicates there's issues with the website?

You probably have a pop-up blocker enabled for the Wyndham website - and/or malware/adware enabled - turn the pop-up blocker off and you should see the banner (which many pop-up blockers prevent).
I have the banner, but it specifically states Club Pass. And I had been hearing issues on FB with Club Pass reservations spinning and spinning before they put the banner up - it's been going on for a good couple weeks. So there may be something new going on with the website, but it doesn't seem related to the Club Pass issue addressed in the banner.

I think Wyndham took our account down to transfer a contract from us to a new owner.
This has been ongoing for about 20 months now. A TUG member took my 28K Branson Meadows contract and it still has yet to transfer, and the reason was stupid and nonsensical. Wyndham's title department said that the county wouldn't accept the deed as I typed it because I didn't put the marital status on the Sole Owner deed. The county absolutely DID accept the deed as-is and didn't require that AT ALL. We called and they said they recorded because there is no such requirement.
This one takes the cake for most ridiculous deed transfer ever.
If you think we haven't been hassled to the nth degree, you need to know how ridiculous Wyndham can be.
We will have to give away a bunch of our contracts we have left at this point. We cannot use this many points.

I got the error again this morning. On try 2, the error message displayed, but I could see my points and initials in the upper corner. "X" out of the error and confirmed I was "in"

Well now it's my turn to not be able to log in. Not with my username nor DH's. I always clear everything each time and open a new window too so it's not that. Tried on both of our phones and my Kindle too as it uses the Amazon Silk browser instead of Google Chrome. On my phone I also tried using the desktop setting. No joy. The rep even had me reset my password to see if that worked. Nope.

Try using the new mobile app with Face ID. IME this bypasses the reported issues that many are seeing with the website based logins - myself included - as I periodically see the issue where logins get caught up with an error. I've noticed that being persistent and trying multiple times often results in success on the website - but I've not yet seen any issues of this nature with the mobile app once it is set up using Face ID. That said, if you're not already set up for the app, you may still experience login issues during initial app setup.

There's something going on from what we can tell. The mobile app will currently only display WM resorts for example. We suspect IT made a change to attempt to fix the issue with WM Club Pass reservations not working, that has negatively impacted core functionalities.
I just logged onto the website and it seems to be working fine, I did a bunch of availability searches and an attempted booking without error. Didn't try the app.
