Is Wyndham accepting cash outs from ovations or pathway programs?

Considering getting out. Does anyone have buy back/cash out request recently put into motion?
Is there a specific thread on this subject to follow?
Thank you

There is no cash out unless you bought a contract with a specific rider. Otherwise, the best they will offer is use of points for three years with no fees.

I haven't heard of anyone being rejected with the Pathways program. You could call the Pathway number on your contract and ask what your payment would be and get an estimate of how long it would take if you initiate now. I believe you have to keep paying the monthly maintenance and lose access to the points during the process.

I called about exiting and they said the process would take 5-6 months. I would lose access to points but still pay maintenance fees. They would pay me about $1000, but I figured I would still pay about $1000 in MFs. Seems like there is no easy way out.

Without pathways, you would pay the $1,000 MF without recovering it, so you essentially gain $1000. If you gave it away, you would still pay those maint fees for the same amount of time, so pathways is the way to go.

I can't imagine that the $1000 was part of a pathway purchase. A pathway payout of $1000 would only be applicable on a $5000 purchase during the pathways window.

Out of curiosity. What is the points package and deed locations you're trying to get out of?
