We have an upcoming stay at Club Wyndham Resort - Whispering Woods Resort
67800 East Nicklaus Way Welches, OR 97067
..but in searching the reviews section of TUG, there does not appear to be any reviews for this resort in the database under that name.
However, there is a listing for Whispering Woods Shell Vacations Club ..in the TUG review database (at this same address).

If this info is correct (and this is one and the same resort), I would be reviewing it as a Club Wyndham location since that is how we will be staying there.
While I can certainly note this in the review, it also made me wonder if a separate entry should be made in the review database for the Wyndham affiliated resort so that the reviews can be better aligned to the club (Shell vs Wyndham) experience.
@TUGBrian and/or @Makai Guy - thoughts?

Is it possible that Wyndham bought a number of units at the property to offer to Club Wyndham owners directly? I know they do this at a number of resorts. Kingstown Reef in Orlando is a Worldmark property, but just last year they added two Club Wyndham buildings. It only exists in the TUG resort review pages under Worldmark.

Wyndham bought Shell Vacation Club a few years ago and is in the process of integrating them into Club Wyndham. As they "buy out" Shell owners, they are able to put inventory into the Wyndham system and are reservable by us...

So required Shell inventory is being put into CWA?

No, I don't believe any Shell inventory is being deeded into CWA.

While Shell contracts deeded in Whispering Woods aren't being converted to Club Wyndham, what I suspect is happening is that CW is using converted Shell points usage to make underused Shell units available to CW members to increase occupancy and balance across systems.

I don’t think we know if there is actually separate inventory for Wyndham owners, and therefore if it would need a separate resort listing for review purposes.

Yes technically the inventory is separate. But it’s separate on books not on property.
Shell property contracts as sold by Wyndham are the Club Wyndham Prefer Hawaii and West.

On property is what I meant - it sounds like an owner on a Wyndham reservation could end up in any unit, basically? So then it wouldn’t need a separate resort for review purposes, but maybe “Wyndham” could be added parenthetically in the name of the existing resort entry to indicate that it’s appropriate for reviews from both types of booking.

I'll ask the question when we get there and report back, so more to follow.
I should have also noted this - the resort review database also has an entry for Whispering Woods II - which has separate reviews.

I'm hoping the recent positive reviews are accurate...we shall see!

In II there are two entries for it with three resort codes - Shell Vacations Club at Whispering Woods Resort II (WPW) is the first entry and Whispering Woods Resort I and II (WP3 and WP5) is the other. RCI has Whispering Woods Resort (1711), Whispering Woods Resort II (3279), Shell Vacations Club @ Whispering Woods Resort (DS22), and Club Wyndham Whispering Woods Resort (DU45 and a couple others for shorter than a week stays). Sounds like there are a few different ways to stay there.

I believe this is in part due to the fact that Shell didn’t own all of it. If I remember correctly the other owners run the property. (As in not even a sales person for Shell onsite)

Whispering Woods has 2 types of units. Most are townhomes (WWI). The newer section (II) are units in a 3(I think) story building that requires stairs to access. The Shell units were all in II. The townhomes are all part of an independent timeshare which manages the property.
I think once the Shell to Wyndham situation sorts out, for review purposes, there will be 2 categories; sections I and II.
