I recieved a call from a company called Resort Sales Marketing Company telling me my timeshare is sold. I feel that this is a rip off scam again. Any info???

Did you list your timeshare for sale? If it was just a cold call, they are just trying to get you to pay an upfront fee to list it on some obscure website. It will never get sold.

While it is perhaps not fair to generalize, I will anyhow --- I have never heard of any timeshare related entity with the word "marketing" in its' name to be anything but some form or flavor of a completely useless upfront fee advertising entity. And, as stated already by others, NONE of these upfront fee parasites will ever sell your timeshare, having fully completed their "work" the moment they have collected their fee.

It contains practical advice for where to advertise, how to establish a realistic asking price, how to avoid scams and what to do once you have an interested buyer.
