I'm wondering if there are any alternatives to long term parking at myrtle beach' s MYR airport.
I'm aware of the airport's on-site parking options, I'm wondering about hotels or parking garages that may offer a better rate.
I need to leave my car for about 45 days near this airport while I conduct business, and I find the airport parking daily rate of $9 excessive.

Yikes! At over $400 you might be better off to leave the car somewhere else with cheap/free parking and a good connection to MYR and fly in. Or take a rental car and turn it in there. We do both of the above when faced with expensive parking for long duration. Also check on hotels with park 'n' fly deals for the cost of a night's room rental.

What about one of those storage facilities with outdoor parking? Some allow month to month parking -as opposed to a 6 or 12 month lease. You could park & take a cab to the airport.

We were going to use one in the Miami area for our current 3 month stay in Belize. We had planned on driving down then flying in & out of MIA. Upon our return we were going to then spend a few weeks at Florida timeshares. An announcement of a new grandchild due next month changed our plans!

Thanks, the baby is due any time now! So excited, even though its our 2nd (well 3rd, if you count our beautiful step-granddaughter who was 10 when she joined the family).

Here is one place I found similar to what we looked at, although I didn't send for a quote. http://extraroomselfstoragellc.com/
or; https://www.selfstorage.com/self-storage/south-carolina/longs/guardian-self-storage-199113/

There are also places listed on Craigs list; https://myrtlebeach.craigslist.org/prk/5378913012.html

Happy hunting!
