Is there a place to exchange points/miles/timeshares with others?

Is there a website that people can go to and barter things like various hotel points, frequent flyer miles and even timeshares and/or fractionals? Has Tug ever thought about a member's forum for something like this?

Examples:
You wanted to stay in a nice hotel that only has Westin branded hotels and you have Marriott points to offer.

You have timeshares to offer for hotel points and/or FF miles.

You have Marriott points and want to trade for frequent flyer miles, at a better rate than Marriott has to offer.

It probably wouldn't be a forum, because it would attract too much spam and we try to keep all Ads out of the forums. I'm not sure, but it might work with the current "wish list" or "private exchange" sections of the TUG Classifieds.

you are welcome to post a direct exchange ad with these details in the description if you wish.

Thanks Brian & Denise. I have placed an exchange ad with a description attached.

It's just that I have a lot of planning to do for summer 2010, and there are no Marriotts (hotels or timeshares) in some of the places that I am hoping to visit. I am wondering if there is a forum somewhere else that is "open mike". I have read that flyertalk has a similar forum for experienced posters. :(

something like that here would be considered an ad...sorry.

there are bound to be some other brand timeshares you can trade or search for in the area. can also try putting up some wish ads too.
