Just got a 2br at the Ritz on St Thomas in April . I’ve been to Frenchmen’s but never the Ritz. I’m wondering if it’s a good use of points

Absolutely, yes. Nicest villas and best service we've ever experienced at a timeshare (aside from the SF RCC). The beach is nicer than that at Frenchman's Cove and the pools much nicer. To us the only downside was that the restaurants around the Cove and Charlotte Amalie were better and more varied than those by the RCC and Red Hook. But the food and drink at RCC's pool bar was surprisingly good (for a pool bar).
