Is requesting certain rooms or floors needed in Hawaii?

Hi,
We are taking our dream vacation to Hawaii starting in Oct. Is requesting a room or floor something I should do?


We are staying at the following Wyndham resorts:

2 bd Royal Gardens
2 bd deluxe Kona Hawaiin Resort
1 bd Ocean View Kauii Beach Villas
1bd lower Wakiki Beach Walk

At Kona I would ask for a unit that can see the ocean. I can't remember what unit we were in when we went in February but there are a few units (esp. 2nd floor) that have a wonderful view. At Beach Walk I would ask for a unit away from the corner and in the back if you like quiet. With the lower units I think they don't go above either the third or fourth floor but I would ask for the highest available. I haven't been to the other two resorts.
