Is Presidents week always week #7?

Is Presidents week always week #7? Im thinking if purchaseing a week 7 for this reason but only if it is always presidents week so I have it for when the kids are on vacation from school.

The legal holiday (one day) is the 3rd Mon. in Feb. by law.

However, school Districts determine school holidays. In CA, we don't have President's week. We get one day off for George and one day for Abe. Sometimes we have a 4-day weekend, sometimes we have two 3-day weekends. So, the questions to ask are:

1) Is President's Week set in stone in your Dist.?
2) Will your children always be in this Dist. - even for Jr. High and High School?

my kids always have the entire week + a few days but what I was trying to get at is week 7 in the timeshare calander always presidents week?

Presidents Week

It does appear that week 7 is always Presidents week, at least on the Saturday to Saturday timeshare weeks.

Most likely it would fall as week 7, in 7 out of 10 years.

1st one i tried missed.
if Jan 1 is on Sat, then week 7 is Feb 12 to Feb 19.
President's day would be Feb 21 that year.
try out all 7 possibilities, remembering that week 1 is the first FULL week in Jan. ---ken

Week 7 is NOT always President's week. I used to own a week 7 which had a Sunday checkin. Week 7 was President's week about 5 of 7 years. President's week was week 8 the other years.

Appears that week 7, is not always Presidents week. Would not purchase a week 7, if the only criteria was for it to be Presidents week.

Winter week 7 in Florida is a high demand week.

Week 7 in Massachusetts covers school vacations. We get good trades with our week 7 at Mittersill Inn, Franconia, NH. Week 8 following is when the New Hampshire schools are out.

Years ago I had fixed weeks 7&8 and never missed a President's Week. They were non-Marriott's of course.

If you have Week 7 Friday check-in I believe you will always have President's week. With a Saturday check-in, Presidents week is week 8 on average once every seven years. But it doesn't happen regularly. It depends on what day of the week Jan 1 falls on.

Similarly, with a Sunday check-in Presidents week will be week 8 twice every seven years.
